HOW TO PREPARE
Attention Passengers
We always aim to arrive on time, however, there may be unforeseen circumstances such as weather, sea conditions and busy periods that may cause delays. Please be patient and understanding.
Please be ready with your bags on the wharf and consider parking availability if you are departing from Palm Beach Wharf as we cannot wait for you to find a park. If you are running late please call us directly so we can reschedule our rides.

No one is permitted to enter the vessel unless instructed by the skipper
Phones need to be secured in pockets or bags whilst getting on/off the vessel
BOTH hands need to be empty/free whilst getting on/off the vessel
All bags/freight need to be handed across to the driver for loading unless requested to assist
You MUST remain seated whilst boat is moving and whilst tying up
Please follow instructions given by the skipper.
Other things you should know!
Dogs
Dogs to be boarded last and taken off first. Please hold onto leads at all times while dogs are boarding and please keep them secured and controlled while on the boat.Owners are responsible for any mess or damage and may incur a fee.
Smoking/ Vaping and Alcohol
No smoking or vaping whilst on the vessel.
For safety reasons anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol may be refused if aggressive or uncooperative.Threatening behaviour will not be tolerated and the police will be called.
Life Jackets
Lifejackets are available on request for adults, children and toddlers. Lifejackets are stowed under passenger seats and in the forward hold. If requested to don a lifejacket by the master of the vessel you must do so by law.
Baggage
Baggage, materials and pets need to be ready on the wharf prior to being loaded especially during weekends and holiday periods to help keep our service running efficiently.
Building materials and homewares
We are not a barge service but we will accomodate small amounts of materials, a surcharge fee may apply. If you have bulk materials please contact Barrenjoey Barges.
Disability Access
Unfortunately we do not have wheelchair access. If you have mobility issues or require additional assistance please contact us prior to booking.
